Input Unit

Each computer has a keyboard and a mouse that works as an input unit. Light pen, Scanner, Digitizer etc.
Used as an input.

Out put Unit

Different types of printers (dot metrics printers, ink jet printers, laser printers) are used as an output unit with each computer. Map also
Or Drawing design etc. Plotter is used for printing.

Display Unit

Each computer is used as a Monitor, Display Unit. Currently LCD monitors are widely used as well as ICT monitors.

System Unit

Computer Unit is the same as the box in the box. The system unit usually has the following parts:

(1) Mother Board
(2) Expansion slot
(3) Key Board Connector
(4) Processor
(5) PS / 2 Mouse connector
(6) Math Co Processors
(7) Serial Port
(8) RAM
(9) Parallel Port
(10) Rom
(11) USB port
(12) DIP switch
(13) Rechargeable Ebill Battery.

Computer hardware details information

Mother board

The motherboard is the most important circuit board on a computer where many electronics components are installed and used on computer. As a cooperative of all activities, each device is connected to Mother Board in some way or the other.

Processor

Processor is a major and most important part of the computer. The processor is defined as the brain’s brain. Speed of the processor. The speed of the computer work depends on the speed.

Math Co Processors

Math-co-Processor enhances the computer’s processing speed while working as a co-operator of Processor. However, note that currently the processors used are in Co-Processor Built-In. In this case, different Math-co-pressor is not used.

RAM:

RAM is the device that is used to store the computer’s data during processing. RAM is a type of Temporary Storage Device known as Primary Memory. Read / Write type of RAM
Memory goes on and on.

ROM:

Known as a permanent Permanent storage or primary memory. BIOS’s Instructions are stored on ROM during Manufacturing which is Screen-Display with Computer On.
BIOS has a self-test program which checks Computer and connected peripreals during computer booting. Note that this is read only.

Rechargeable batteries

Motherboard is equipped with a 3: 5 or 3 volt battery. This battery is powered by CMOS Chip on Computer Off.

DiP switch
DIP signage is only available on XT Computer. It has 8 ON / OFF Switch
Sweet Switch is a Setup utility at XT Computer
Program does not have to do so in this case by switch OFF / ON
Computer Configuration is OK.

Expansion Slot:

Different types of cards (sound card, TV card, modem, VGA card) are connected through G slots. For example,
ISA Slot-16 bit Data Transmission
PCI Slot-32 bit Data Transmission
AGP Slot- 64 bit Data Transmission

Clock generator

Data processing is possible on small motherboard chips such as processors, math co processors, preferential interrupts controllers, programmable peripherals interfaces, etc. Clock generator continuously sends different clock signals through the motherboard.

PIT (Programmable Interval Timer):

PIT is used to refresh Clock Control and dynamic RAM by accepting various types of clock pulse.

PPI (Programmable Peripheral Interface)
Programmable peripheral interface has three 4 bit port. It can be configured as each port input or output. Port A, read Keyborad and read Port B Progarmable Interal timer by cnable Port C, 8253 timer output channel.

PIC (Programmable Interrupt Controller)

Every time a computer is required to communicate with no one peripheral. All input and output functions of the computer are through interrupt signals. Request Peripheral, Interrupt Controller to interrupt the CPU by sending a signal.

Mother board External jumper setting

There are several switch and LEDs on the outside of the computer casing, which are connected with Jumper’s motherboard.

USB Port:

The motherboard usually consists of 3-4 4 pins USB port. Generally, printers, scanners, cameras, pen drives, etc. are added to it.

Keyboard connector:

Two types of keyboards called Serial (DIN) and PS / 2 (MINI Din)
Connector is used.
